Small, intimate Weddings

We specialise in smaller weddings, with up to 60 guests, as the house can be used throughout the year.

Both the Library and the Music Room are adaptable for all styles of reception, from drinks with canapés to a formal wedding breakfast. The elegant spiral staircase makes the ultimate background for wedding photographs. There are many delightful opportunities in and around the house for group photographs.

Select guests can stay in the lap of luxury.

Marquee Weddings

Larger Summer Weddings can be hosted in a marquee. A range of options is available from our supplier.

We can also arrange a stunning firework display, where uniquely the effect is enhanced by the reflections in the river Wye.


We have a full Wedding licence to hold ceremonies here. But whether or not you chose to hold the ceremony at Moccas, we can provide fully catered receptions for as many as 250 people.

We only use Herefordshire's very best caterers who provide delicious menu choices and full staffing.

Being fully licensed, you can chose wines from our highly competitively priced wine list.

Moccas Court regrets that due to the architecturally sensitive nature of the house, we are unable to provide adequate disabled facilities.

Your Honeymoon

All the rooms at Moccas Court offer an unparalleled combination of luxury, style and tranquillity. But the Pleasure Ground Room in particular is often referred to as the 'bridal suite'.

Our largest bedroom, it has a soft, sensuous feel. The large windows face South to catch the sun and look out over the Deer Park. (They also overlook the parkland at the front of the house, which were originally known as the Pleasure Ground hence the room's name.)
